When I think of summer, I think of me on the beach with the breeze blowing my hair into my eyes, with my headphones blasting my ears with music, blocking out the seagulls. Music is a definite must-have for me, year-round, but especially during the summer. 

Every year, I make it a point to make a summer playlist, of all of my current favorites. And now that summer is finally here, I thought I would share what I'll be jamming out to this summer, and maybe help you make your own playlist as well. Also, stick around to the end to find out why this post is titled what it is titled. So now I will stop rambling and get on to the playlist. As promised, I will now share the story behind this title. 

I was thinking about some names for this playlist, earlier, and I found that I was really stumped. I decided to let it marinate for a couple of days, but nothing came to me. Just yesterday, I went for ice cream at Kimball's and had ice cream drip down the side of the cone (as always) and it suddenly came to me. When I think of summer, the first image that comes to my head is always ice cream dripping down my fingers. Now "Ice Cream Dripping Down My Fingers" was way too long of a playlist name, so in the middle of the night, it came to me (for real this time). I decided to come at this from a different angle, and the name of the playlist is now (drumroll please...) "Sticky Fingers". Now I know this is quite a long story over some playlist name, but I am pretty proud of what I came up with, (or maybe I'm just weird that way). 

So anyway, these are some of my current favorites, and what I'll be jamming out to at the beach. Hopefully you enjoyed my story of the struggle I went through for this music playlist, and maybe gave you a few ideas of what you could put in your playlist.
